AHCI and IDE
Hey! I have a (single)disk set up on my Sata and my sister is having problems with her IDE drive. I was hoping to connect her drive to my MB and see if I could access the data. Will I be able to or would I need to reconfigure my bios so that it supports legacy IDE? TIA.

Re: AHCI and IDE
No, you don't. AHCI only applies to SATA disks, and anyway, it's only a difference with the drivers.
