Hello Everyone,
I purchased new comp just a month back, and one day all of sudden it was not working. When you start a comp, no power is showing is CPU. My motherboard model no. is - DG33FBC.
Motherboard sr. no is - USFB807000S5AA D81072-306.
It was sent to Chennai(India) intel vendor, they checked it saying it is ok. But when my vendor tried it, it is not giving any response. Now He want to send Motherboard as well as SMPS both to Chennai again. I stay in Mumbai(India).
Does anyone know Chennai Intel Address, phone no. or email address, so that i can talk to them directly about my issue.
Do you think it is a motherboard problem or somehting else????
Pls. Help....
Regards,
Rajshri

Rajshri,
Sorry I don't have that location information and a I did a couple searches with no luck. You might have a dead power supply if none of the fans kick on when you turn on the power or it could be a dead board. I had a system get hit by lighting and when you hit the power button nothing happened. The power supply was fine along with everything but the motherboard.
Sorry I can't help you better.

i have had the same thing happen as apoptosis, i was using power tools that sent a real bad powerspike to the computer which fried the motherboard. if you have access to a multi meter or another computer, those could be used to test your power supply
