Asus P6T deluxe and XMP

Post by meolsen »

I have 1600 mem in the P6T with an i7 extreme. It runs, mostly, but crashes when it sleeps. Any reason for this? Seems that the memory throughoutput makes setting XMP worth it, but not if it collapses all the time.

Anyone else finding this? Ihave 6GB 2G x 3 sticks

what brand are you running and what is the voltage set at?

Check out this page - http://www.legitreviews.com/article/834/3/

To enable the eXtreme Memory Progiles you just need to go to the AI Tweaker menu and set the AI Overclock Tuner to XMP. If your motherboard doesn't support XMP or the memory is unstable with XMP enabled you'll have to manually set the timings and frequency.

Same here with all settings in BIOS set back to AUTO.
Try to wake it up and it'll sit with a black screen & fans running WFO forever until the PS is switched off and back on.

Patriot, DDR3 1600 XMP "ready". No go. Well, it goes, but no go sleep.
