I have a server equiped by a RAID Intel(R) Matrix Storage Manager option ROM V5.6.2.1002 ESB2.
I installed on this server a centOs5 and I puted on my data. and when working on I got some problems, so I rebooted the server and then I get an error message indicating that the CentOs could not find the disk to boot. I rebooted again the server to access to the RAID configuration inteface and then I found that the third disk is off-line. Ireplaced the disk by another one and I rebooted again and then the RAID configuration indicate that the status is Rebuild and display this message: "Volume will be rebuild within the operating system". I waited 2 days and the staus is still "Rebuild".
should I waiting more to get a disk rebuilded and to get the operationg system running again?
are there any solution to get the operating system running again or at least to get my data back from disks?
