D975XBX2 w/ RAID 5 -- S.M.A.R.T. ?

I would like to know if a D975XBX2 with 3 Seagate Barracuda ES drives configured as Intel RAID 5 can use S.M.A.R.T.. The default system BIOS settings have S.M.A.R.T. set to disabled.

Should work fine, enable it in the bios, then run Sandra / speedfan etc. to see if it reports the HDD temps.

AFAIK SMART is not supported when using RAID!
