I am building a new PC using an ABIT AB9 PRO and a core duo. Have a pair of samsung 250GB SATA disks plugged into SATA 1 and 2 on the board.
Now having scoured the web, I can't get the expected RAID screen when I choose ctrl-i, or any other combination of keys to initially set up RAID with this board. Moreover, entering the BIOS (DEL does work fine) and choosing entering the OnChip IDE Device screen, I only have one line visible. The IDE Bus Master Enabled line. The SATA Mode linhe, visible in the motherboard paper manual is not visible on the screen.
I figure either that I need to press some as yet untried combination of keys to (aka ctrl-i) to bring this into play in the first place, or some other BIOS value enables this option.
I have installed Windows XP ok without RAID (and have loaded the appropriate drivers at F6), but obviously, I do not want to skip setting up RAID now and having to start again later.
All help on where my missing RAID is gratefully accepted.

Glad you figured it out... I'll never touch an AB9 Pro after this experience: http://forums.legitreviews.com/viewtopic.php?t=6475
