power pin on D975XBX2 front panel header

Should there be anything connected to the power pin (#9) on the Bad Axe 2 front panel header? I had no leads from my Ultra X-Blaster case that are not connected somewhere, but wonder if this could have anything to do with my HDD LED not functioning. I have checked the LED and it is good. :?
