I'm unable to successfully copy large files between the logical disks (XP PRO SP2). When I copy a 15 GB file from one disk to another, it is corrupted, every time. MD5s never match. Copying from my external USB to either logical disk is no problem.

Thoughts? Anyone else seen this?

I'm about to start trying smaller files, until I find the cutoff.
I just has an 8344ELP in here today. I wasn't doing any big transfers, but LSI has been issuing major updates.

I'm disgusted with LSI with the moment with the HUGE issues I've been having with solaris, but Intel support for the server-boards (let alone these boards) has been the worst in the industry. And it used to be good.

The latest dell firmware is 5.2.1-0067, the latest LSI is:

7.0.1-0036 / 1.12.60-0365

Yes, dell is that far behind.

Yes, LSI makes so many mistakes that they turn over firmware once a month.

I'm battle-testing a Adaptec 3085 and a 3805, they seem much 'nicer' than the LSI crap, and are properly supported in Solaris. (The solaris LSI driver is garbage)
Think for yourself, question authority!
