Thank you for your quick response. I no longer have the Intel board, I RMAed it and replaced it with an Asus P5W DH Deluxe which is basically the same specs as the Intel board. I don't have Vista :cry: , so I will have to settle for my Windows XP Media Center. I have the most recent bios installed, which is required so that the board wil recognize my CPU correctly (P4 640 3.2G).

Hey Mary!

I think you should either edit the title of this thread or start a new one!
It's a bit confusing now that your using an Asus board and not the Intel one.

First can you try leaving the ram @ DDR800 but set the timings to auto. then see what happens.
OR leave the settings as is, and increase the memory voltage by .1v and test.

It sounds like wrong timings or lack of voltage to me.
BTW that Asus board undervolts, so if you set 2v for the ram it's really ~1.94v.
