trust me, the old BIOS on these are much worse than the newer ones. They have a tool to downgrade the BIOS if it doesn't work out.

another off topic thing, but if i sell my e6300 and buy a e4300 which has a 9x multplier wouldnt i be able to overclock even more, because this board's max fsb is around lower 500, and if can get even 450fsb ill get 4GHz instead of my current setup with 7x505

Yes, that is possible. If the FSB is a limitation, the higher multi will help.
