I spent the extra money and bought the EVGA nForce 680i SLI board. I am on it now. It shuold be fully compatable with my nvidia card.
They said the reason that the system had problems was that the intel chipset works best with the ATI video cards. Which kinda makes sense since i got the error message from windows after it crashed telling me it was from a driver but didnt know which one.
I am going to start benchmarking now and it is overclocked right off the bat. with no issues loading windows...yet
