Hi All,

Win XP Pro 2nd Edition
Motherboard Intel D975XBX2
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Processor 2.40GHz
PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750 Quad (Crossfire Edition)
Video Card: E145-8614 EVGA GeForce 8600 GTS
BL2KIT12864AL663 2GB kit (1GBx2), Ballistix Tracer 240-pin DIMM (with LEDs)

My onboard audio and/or external sound blaster Extigy would either stutter or pause during audio play back.
After trying driver updates and other tricks I finally discovered it was my ESATA on the red ESATA port that was causing my problems
I now use USB 2 for my external sata hdd and audio is perfect. I guess that marvell raid driver is junk.

HTH

Actually, Intel made a good amount of money from it. So I would say it did ok for them. /sarc

Marvell just laid off 7% of its workforce (400 people). Its the horrible drivers and pissed off ASIC customers and its dedication to not finishing the job right that makes me sick when I see that double-M.

Marvell really, really does suck. Hint to Intel: AMCC/3Ware stuff - get this - actually works!
