On my Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 I'm running the 6850 @ 3.4g. 3.4g isn't a super OC by any means but to qualify:

1) I am running the stock Intel cooler (did add some AS vs. the Intel tape)
2) I haven't changed any voltages except boosting the G.Skill to 2.0v (it likes 2.1 - 2.2v)

I think if I really started tweaking and added cooling I could get much higher on this board, I would put it on your short list...

MWave has it but for some reason the Egg and Tigerdirect don't anymore (got mine from the Egg)

EDIT - I just looked at your sig (you have an 8500GT). When you say "go crossfire" are you intending on getting a new board AND AMD/ATI cards (I would assume 3870s)? By the time you buy two 3870s @ $230-$240 each and a $250 mobo I would recommend just sticking with the P35 and getting a 8800GTS 512 or a GTX. The P35 is good for a fast single card solution and, compared to the 8500 either of those solutions (or even a 8800GT) will knock your socks off with the rig in your sig... Just my opinion
