I am looking to add a 10,000 spin HD loaded with Vista to use as a dual-boot configuration. Currently I have a Raid-0 configuration for XP installed on the black Intel controlers, which are 2 WD 320 GB drives. My question is can I add the new 10,000 spin drive to 1 of the 2 remaining ports on the Intel Serial ATA controller? I have heard I may have problems with the Raid-0 configuration if I put them there and I am concerned about performance issues if I put the new HD on the Matrix controller.
Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.

I would have thought that you wouldn't have had many problems, as the raid won't be in use when the vista drive is (and vica versa) but the storage controllers are notorious on the xbx2, so can't say for sure.
