I am thinking of going from my 2 gigs of RAM to the 4 Gig OCZ Gold 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory and wonder if anyone has been using this RAM on the BAD Axe 2 and if it is working ok ??? I have XP home SP2, E6600 CPU ... the specs on NewEgg say this runs at 2v but the BadAxe2 specs say it can only support 1.8v or 1.9v .... is this ok ???
Thanks,
Gene

It's working on mine with no problems.

SPD wouldn't set itself to the 5-5-5-18 that OCZ said it's supposed to run.
Had to do it manually and also bump the voltage to 2.0.

However, since installing this kit, I can no longer OC the FSB.
Even just a very few clocks up and the BA2 will no longer boot.

should be fine... you'll just have to use more voltage than standard, which means bumping it up in the BIOS. Intel allows you to go beyond what they suggest when it comes to voltages... they just don't advertise it.

Figured I'd better update my statements slickmarty.

Yesterday I was bored so I started screwing with BIOS settings again.
Bumped up the FSB voltage on my board and was once again able to OC using this RAM.
Also adjusted the timings on the RAM to 4-4-4-12.
