975XBX2 & Q6700 CPU Voltage Question

I just purchased a Q6700 for my XBX2 mobo. Kind of wondering about the correct CPU voltage setting I may need to achieve an OC of 3.2ghz. Is the setting I'm looking to change called Vcore and what do I want to bump it up to? I've never changed the CPU voltage on the E6700 I've been running, just left it to auto and I've been able to achieve a very stable 3.3ghz but I've read that with the Quad cores the CPU increase is a necessity.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Anybody? May have just answered my own question as I'm up and running right now with Q6700 @ 3.3ghz and CPU voltage set to default / automatic. Does this sound right?

Just run orthos or Prime95 for awhile (
go here for opinions on how long to run) to be sure it's stable and call it a day.
If it's not stable then bump up the VCore till it is. Don't bump it up a lot though! Not real sure what the limit is on a Intel but just keep an eye on the temps.

Thanks, running fine now, but I am going to test it this weekend and see what it will do. Ran 3DMark06 and PCMark05 and had no problems.

I have a E6750 that OC's to 3.2Ghz at stock voltage, so ya if you got a good Go stepper, it will do that. I second the Prime testing.

Thanks ibleet, so I must be on the right track. Yes, it's a GO step CPU. I've never run Prime95 but I've read about it, will have to see how I do.
