It can support to some extent a Dual core CPU but from what they say definately it can only take pentium D's, and teh 65nm architecture. If you apry to teh gods you MIGHT get lucky and a Core 2 Duo will work but nothing out of the E8*** range will work. so aim for the E4*** or the E6*** if you are going to take the slight chance that C2D will work on the board.
But i sadly make to guarantees that they will work.
