I'm guessing it's just an updated driver for your SATA controllers. I'd go with option one on the pop up you got and allow Windows to locate and install drivers. Windows should do the rest. Then again, if it's working fine now, you can always leave well enough alone.

No luck buddy, the above option didn't worked for me. And if possible please tell me
the website from where i can download the controler drivers for windows vista.
I have Seagate 160 GB Sata and am having trouble with it... please tell me if offline
driver installation is possible.
Thanks,
Nish

Here is the intel page for the downloads for that board, just choose your OS and it will bring up the right drivers.
Is the SATA drive on the main intel sata controller, or the seconary marvell controller? If it is on the marvell, then moving it over to the intel one will help with your problems.

I was just searching the Intel download page when DMB2000uk posted the link. I'm not sure but I think you are looking for the Intel Matrix Storage Manager.

I think sparky u are right and am currently downloading that matrix storage
drivers...will update you if it works, though if it doesn't work then ill see
whether it is connected to Marwell or Sata controller. Though i think i connected
it to Intel Sata Controler.
Thanks for the help guys.
