Intel DG9650T Desktop Board and SATA througput??

Hi,

Not so good with hardware so looking for some advice.

I have an Intel DG9650T Desktop Board. I also have a Seagate Barracuda 750 gig internal SATA drive which I am about to add.

However, the Drive has two data transfer settings: 1.5 Gb/s and 3.5 Gb/s. Will the Intel board I have work with the 3.5 Gb/s transfer rate? I have looked around for this info even in the intel docs and haven't found it.

Any advice appreciated, thanks!!

The board will work fine with the higher transfer rate/setting.
