EVGA 680i BIOS ISSUE

Recently, every few times I boot my computer a BIOS memory test is initiated. After the test, I am told that no PS/2 mouse is detected (I don't use a PS/2 mouse). After that message, I am finally told that no system disk has been detected.

To temporarily solve this I set my BIOS to default. I have replaced the CMOS battery and reset the CMOS jumpers.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for replying.

Yes I have flashed to the latest BIOS and the problem still occurs. Think the motherboard is bad? I have had it for a year.

try turning off, switching off the psu, unplugging then plugging back in switching the psu back on and restarting. this generally fixed all the boottime problems i had with my 680i board

I'll give that a try and post later. Thank you for the suggestion!

Nope, the problem persists. It seems like coming out of standby, turning off the computer, and turning it back on triggers this off.
