mobo idenfification needed

HI

I am in desperate need to get a new motherboard for my laptop but everyone i ring, or every website i research hs no idea or leads.

The company has goen bust too, but my laptop is a Evesham Voyager c340 running 2gb 5300 ddr2, celeron M 420 ( 1.6ghz) 80 gb hard drive, internal sound and graphics, bios is pheonix.

now on the driver cd it states 8615 model????,

my motherboard has 2x memory banks, upto 256mb vga memory.

i have seen a picture of a 'hi-grade' 8615 gtk branded laptop and it looks the same

With the original manufacturer bust, the only hope you have of finding a replacement motherboard is from another laptop of the same model.

Try looking around laptop forums, or ebay, don't get your hopes up too much as the odds of finding one are against you. So you are in for a challenge.

never in my life have I had to replace a notebook motherboard... Good thing as no one sells them other than the manufacturer... Try to get in touch with Evesham or an Eveshame retailer and try that route. On second thought they went under, so maybe the new owners which would be PCC Technology....
