Asus Rampage Extreme Intel's X48 chipset

Trying to find out if I have one 9800gtx video card in one of the two PCI-E slots and a PCI-E raid controller in the other slot will it kick my band with down to 8X by doing this????? Wanting to run 2 SSD hard dives in raid 0 with a kick ass controller for optimal performance
