I just wanted to let everyone know that ASRock came out with a new BIOS for ASRock X58 supercomputer motherboard. This motherboard is the least expensive Intel X58 Express based motherboard and has some pretty neat features like powered eSATA connectors. That means if you get an eSATA drive like the OCZ Throttle you don't need the USB power cable.
The new version 1.40 BIOS improves the following issues:
1. Formally support XMP DDR3-1866
2. Improve the boot up speed on some configurations.
3. Fix the Lan disappearing issue when eSATA is disabled.
4. Modify EZ Overclocking.
5. Patch Logitech USB illuminated Keyboard.
This is the third release on the board since it was released in late January and ASRock says it is very solid. If you have this board be sure to grab the latest BIOS here or check it out if you are shopping around for a board.
