Intel 915PGN

Problems booting to windows 7 build 7000 DVD.
Recently installed windows 7 on system, sata hard drive crashed....returned to segate and I am trying
to install windows 7 again.
The problem I am having is after setting the bios to boot to DVD rom it does not start the install just
hangs with cursor blinking then finally goes to a black screen.
My system contains:
pentium 4, 3.4 processor
4 gb pc 2700
160 gig sata
DVD rom
DVDrw
Diamond radeon HD4650 PCI 16x 1 gig memory
Intel 915 pgn
gigbit pcie network card
1394 pci card
I have tried removing memory down to 1 or 2 gigs
removing cards, dvd drives, moving which SATA port
the cable is plugged into on the motherboard. Replaced
Sata cable, IDE cable.
Resetting bios ....the bios shows the hard drive, and the DVDrom
and the DVDrw.
It will boot to a Windows Xp install disc....the windows 7 is a 32 bit
which was used to install on other x86 machines.
Any suggestions??????? Thanks
