D975XBX2 BIOS update problem

I am a little late installing BIOS updates but when I tried today I was presented with the following error Roughly stating:

You are running an incompatable program. Please close the program and try to install again. The only thing running is NAV10.2 corp. I disabled it but got the same error.

I am running XP pro at the latest SP. The only other thing I can figure is the update does not like my SATA Raid (2 - 160 GB drives mirrored) . Has anyone seen this or had the problem before?
Current BIOS version is 2507, latest version I was attempting to install is 2838

Sounds like you are trying to use the Express BIOS Update (exe file) to update your BIOS while running in Windows. Have you tired the floppy method? That way nothing will be running in Windows when you go to update it.
