Hi everybody,
I'm using a Nvidia 8600GT 512MB graphics card on my Intel DG35EC motherboard (processor Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz). I want to buy a 1GB 9800GT nVIDIA card now, will it be compatible with my configuration? I heard 9800GT is PCIE 2.0 card, but my baseboard DG35EC supports only pcie 1.0 version. The vendor says that 9800GT is backward compatible and will work with my board. Is it really worth going for? please suggest.
will Intel DG35EC support nvidia 9800 series?
