An Intel spokesman declined to comment about the product, beyond saying Intel plans to use third-party chipsets in some of its motherboard but has yet to reveal which ones.......This is the first time Intel has used a third-party chipset on its branded motherboard. Is it me or has the whole IT industry gone mad lately?? I undestand why Intel didn't ask Nvidia for their chipsets.... But ATI?? surely SIS / ULI would have being a better choice - budget solution?
