Time for a quick preview of what we’ll be showing at Computex in June this year; it’s the new GA-Z79A-UD13 motherboard with 8-way SLI/CrossfireX via 4 additional PCIe bridge chips. It also features an unbelievable additional 14 SATA ports (8 from the chipset + 14 for a total of 22) from 7 Marvell controllers that can be found under the specially extended South Bridge heatsink, together with the PCIe bridge chips. Due to its extended size, we’re calling this the XXXXL-ATX form factor and are working with all your favorite case manufacturers to have chasses available at launch day.

Keep an eye on this blog, facebook and the official GIGABYTE website for more on this and other innovative products at Computex 2011.

Great job!

Good to know that with all the irons in your fireplace and not enough hours in a day you took the time to bring us this.

Thanks! I'm still laughing over it.

Would be nice though.... O:)

Is this an April Fool's Day joke?

Reminds me of the picture about the 3DFX card that was 2 feet long with a ton of processing cores.

Haha nice one!

Had me fooled for a long minute there. I'd be surprised if Gigabyte does make a board like this later on...for the extreme of the extremes.

But [" It also features an unbelievable additional 14 SATA ports (8 from the chipset + 14 for a total of 22)"] it has all those Sata ports...
