what is a good video card to use with D975XBX2 ?

I have a nvidia card in now (GeForce 9300 GS) and when i tried to download the newer driver from the Windows Update site it caused BSOD and no end of problems, so..
anyone know of a good and compatable video card that works with the D975XBX2 and a Q6700 CPU and win7 64 bit? i need one good enough to do video editing with Adobe Premiere Elements 10.
