AOpen i975Xa-YDG Motherboard Pictures and Specifications

Take a look at the i975Xa-YDG Motherboard from AOPen:

The AOpen 975Xa-YDG motherboard is based on Intel 975X chipset, but comes with the Intel Yonah dual/single core processor socket. (These mobile platforms are now known at Centrino Duo). Rumor has it that AOpen plans to include some OC functions in the BIOS. An example of this would be the CPU voltages that range from 0.7375 to 1.5V, DDR2 voltages from 1.8 to 2.15V, as well as FSB adjustments from 166MHz to 266MHz or more. The AOpen 975Xa-YDG will have 4xDDR2-667, 4xSATA-II and 1xSATA 2 (Hot Plug) and ATI Crossfire support. I can't wait to get my hands on this AOpen board, a Yonah CPU, and run Crossfire on one!

Best of all look at the CPU socket... Doesn't it look like the old Intel Socket 478 heat sink retention bracket? I like the way this is looking...

HAHAHA, prettymuch a carbon copy of what I was doing over here! LOL

I thought it was BTX at first, then was like, "No, it's ATX. But why is the socket... OOOHHHHH! But there's two PCI-Express.... OOOHHHHH! But it's not LGA 7..... OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The ONLY thing I don't like is the placement of the P4 connector and the additional power connector above the PCIe slot.....not really AOpen's fault as even DFI does it.....
