Intel DG22TL motherboard

Post by Sudeep »

I cannot save BIOS configurations. I modified the BIOS settings and also saved while exiting but after again when i went to BIOS setting, it was as it was before. So I thought that the CMOS battery had expired but even after installing new battery, I cannot save the configurations. :?

Replace the CMOS battery with a new one. You can pick one up for about a dollar at most stores.

I think removing battery for sometime (1 to 2 hrs) will clear CMOS ???

Yeah I saw that after I posted my reply. Not being a d**k here but did you pick up the right battery? There are tons of button batteries but they are all different. Looking in my motherboard now it needs to be a CR2032.

Have you checked for an updated BIOS on Intel's website? I tried to look for your board but Google is only coming back with this thread.
