This needs to go in a dumb question thread, but I can't figure it out so..
I've set long post timers and such in the BIOS of my new ASUS Z97 board, but no matter what I do and/or press (F1, Delete, etc) the PC boots without giving me the opportunity to enter BIOS for tweaks. I've restarted, I've cold started, I've unplugged power for an extended time. The Win 8.1 logo pops and off we go.
Any ideas on how I get back and what I need to disable?

Re: ASUS Z97 question
try F12 @ boot - it should give you the boot menu and from there you can enter the bios

Re: ASUS Z97 question
I have the ASUS Z97-A on the test bench and it boots up and enter the UEFI by hitting the delete button with no issues at all.
Where do you have your keyboard plugged in and and what kind is it? Might want to switch USB ports or switch to another keyboard to see if the keyboard itself is the issue.

Re: ASUS Z97 question
I'm not sure what changed, but the next time I bigoted, it paused at the ASUS screen and I entered BIOS normally. After some tweaks it's behaving well.
