What Motherboard

I have to build a new system for he Brother-in-Law next month and he want the best system for around 1200.00 with a Asus motherboard which will have a P-4 640 3.2 gig cpu Zalman 9500 hsf, AIWPCI-e 2006 video card, soundblaster live,40 gig wd hd, case will be Antex TX640B, 19 inch LCD, queston is what motherboard in 75 by Asus would be good for this build any suggestions? He is 62 years old not a gamer or overclocker if that helps.

why would you need a powerhouse of a rig like that then....go for something simple yet effective... thats overkill IMO!

He has the cash and wants fast been using a slot one 600 for years and want the newest in tech for this new system to last him for maybe the rest of his life. So I have to go with his wishes he helps me out alot and I do what I can for him he's like an adopted brother.
