I've personally yet to touch a 965 based board, so I'm no help on this one.

Well, the Gigabyte is easier to find in Canada, so I'm leaning towards that for this reason. I'll find soon then.

I've been seeing some really great things out of the gigabyte board. I personally haven't used one, but from what I've been reading the past couple of days it's an excellent overclocking board.
I haven't seen anything about the abit.

the abit is suppose to do 340FSB without a sweat, according to the Abit forums. personally I would never buy a gigabyte board and have always had great luck with Abit

difference is the DS3 is doing 500mhz 450+ with out a sweat. Thats much better if you plan on gettinga lower end chip rather than pay 300+ for the E6600.

The reason I'm getting a E6300 is budget, and since Conroes OC nicely, I would like a board with good OC capabilities. Thanks for the info.
