Have you built a D975XBX system?

If so, maybe you can help a wannabe geek out >
It says in the manual:
"Remove the primary PCI Express video card before installing or upgrading memory to avoid interference with the memory retention mechanism"
Can someone explain the procedure for building a PC with this in mind? Do I just use another PCIE slot? if so, when is it safe to return the card to the primary slot?

When a PCI Express graphics card is installed in the primary slot (the one closest to the CPU) you wont be able to open the tabs that hold the memory in place (The will hit the video card). They suggest removing the video card to put the memory in. The video card can be installed after the memory is installed.
This is nothing more than a cautionary step so the video card and/or memory do not get damaged.

yeah a pain when it comes to testing alot of different memory heh.. i shove my card in middle PCI-E slot for that
