ABIT AW9D-MAX - Another Failure or A Home Run?

So what makes the AW9D-MAX so special?
The AW9D-MAX is special because it features our unique and innovative Silent OTES 2 technology. This combination of heat pipes and heat sinks makes the AW9D-MAX completely silent without the use of any fans to cool the motherboard. Along with this unique system, it is found that the Silent OTES 2 cools chipsets better then the competitors because the heat pipes attach directly to the heat sink to dissipate heat faster.

After using the AB9 Pro I'm scared to see what this board is like, but it does look much better. What do you guys think?

Im seriously hoping that its a good board. And is pretty good for overclocking, i.e. 400Mhz FSB with relative ease, as the featureset looks impressive for the 975 chipset.

But we'll have to see.

:rolleyes: You probably have to use four floppies to get it to recognize the "SATA CD-Rom" drive!


Actually it looks nice, but ya just never know with abit right now!
