Can anyone tell me if its possible to overclock a Core2Duo E6300 on a Dell (Intel) Motherboard? I read a forum that showed how to on the Bad Axe motherboard, but i'm interested if it can be done on the Dell board?

Thanks to all

If you can and thats a BIG if then youll be very limited in the degree that you can. Most big computer manufacturers use mobos with BIOS's lacking overclocking options. Also sometimes they use proprietary plugs and mounting holes and such that make upgrading a pain! Build your own or pay one of us to build you one next time :-) Still sounds like a nice computer though what are the specs?

you can't. You would need to use a program like Clockgen or find someone that has so much time on there hands that they could mod the bios to do it. And programs like Clockgen don't bother making themselves compatible with Dells, because the overwhelming majority of people aren't overclocking
