Last ETA I've heard on them is January 2007.

Hrm. Did a bit more reading.

One of the LR Articles (http://www.legitreviews.com/article/410/1/) has it slated to be released this month.

Intel D975XBX2 has been out for weeks.. It costs a bit though...

Tank Guys - $240

They are the cheapest and sold out... I think they are getting more in on 12-15-2006 or before.... call and ask if you really want one.

Keenzo says more are coming on 11/27/2006

Problem apop, is that i'm in canada...remember? lol. I'm losing major FAH points with that rig down and want it back up and active ASAP. Having something delivered from US, going through customs, etc, i would have that rig down for probably the next four weeks...

I guess another nvidia rig it is gonna be, or maybe another P5WDH...depends on what the warehouse has in stock, i guess.

Kinda interested to see just how high my ram can really go...having to use memset to get timings right for high FSB speeds is way more than abit frustrating, and the audio(realtek) is not suitable for games, and i don't want to buy an X-FI just yet. The 680i has realtek tho, the P5B has ADI, but no "real" Crossfire support(at least not good for X1900's)...

 i got alot of hardware....and will never stop buying new stuff when it comes out, but I hate being in this sort of situation where MUST choose a product, without being able to do research like I normally do.

Any idea on Canada retailers, Apop? One of my issues is i don't use credit...kinda limits my options...but cost is not a factor, fortunately.

what do you use to pay? or do you only do actual B&M stores?

I tend to use someone else's card, or i pay cash locally. Credit is evil, in my books, and I don't seem to really need it... except to order pc parts.

Not sure if its the same in Canada, but why not get a debitcard that has a MasterCard logo. I do that, and it just debits the money from my bank account. Just something to think about.

personally if it was me, I'd go with the 680 board. Those boards are giving some install ram speeds, but your not gonna get your Crossfire support.

no debit mastercards here. otherwise i'd have one.

Sheesh, Nate...that' quite some wait. NCIX currently lists board as in stock, but only w/ purchase of QX cpu.

maybe i'll just get p5wdh and another e6600.
