How to monitor HD temperatur with RAID disks? D975XBX

For hard disks configured in a RAID I do not know of any way to monitor their temperature. The Windows tools don not work with Raids, Intel Matrix Storage Software does not display temps, the BIOS of my D975XBX does not show HD temps.

Anybody having an Idea how to monitor the temperature of disks in Raids?

If not, can someone please forward a feature request to Intel to add HD temp info to their Matrix Storage Software. I do not know how to contact them (got no reaction from Intels Email support).

Thanks for the hint.

With such a Tool I might get the S.M.A.R.T attributes of the drives (which is better than nothing) but not the current temperature.

For a desktop board which generally runs in a uncontrolled environment (no server aircon) one needs to check the drive temp (at least after building a new system). S.M.A.R.T. warnings come too late.

D'oh- I was hopeful this one worked with V64, but it doesn't.
