Currently neither work under the VISTA OS, at least not for me. Has anyone got them to run with VISTA? Late today I posted a Support issue with Intel about the two programs and their incompatibility with VISTA. I got a canned response but I escalated it to Tech Support. I will keep you guys informed as to what I get back. If anyone else is following this same lead please post your information here.

In regards to this situation with Windows Vista*, we regret to inform you that the applications you are trying to install (Intel(R) Desktop Utilities and Intel(R) Audio Studio) have not yet been released for Windows Vista* 64-bit, as they are still under develpment.

When they are available, you will be able to download them here:

Hi,

I have the Vista 64 and Intel Desktop Control Center for Vista 32 does not work with it. It fails while loading it.

Waiting for a release that works with Vista 64.

Sweet! thanks!

Erm...NM, looks like the xbx2 is no longer a concern for Intel and the only supported boards are the DX48BT2, DX38BT.
