Core 2 Duo Temp with D975XBX2 question

Post by nnarum23 »

Hi, new here.

I read all of the great info you guys posted here.

I recently built a E6400 with this Bad Axe 2, my question is, my CPU in BIOS says its running 60c, I'm afraid it is pretty high. Can it be inaccurate? I don't notice any performance problems right now though

There were some temperature fixes in BIOS 2618... Are you running that version?

Yeah, I was wondering if there are any settings in BIOS I can change to up the fan speed?

After I've downloaded the Intel Desktop Utilities, it says 53c idle. This isn't too bad now is it?
