Thanks for the info.
I would not have notices without your post because the download does not show up under http://downloadfinder.intel.com/

I installed it with no issues. Intel updated the icon that appears in the tool tray. Other than that can't see anything different.
MSI Meg X570 Unify | Ryzen 3900X | Noctuna NH-U12A | G.Skill RipJaws DDR4 3600 16GB | Samsung 970 Pro 512GB M.2 NVMe | (2) WD Blue 3TB Backups | MSI 2060 Super Gaming X | Meshify - C | SB X-Fi
They updated for users of Vista 32. Unfortunately, I'm using Vista 64 and it seems to have some problems openning.

Does it really work well for you in Vista x64? I had managed to get it installed with the icon in the tray bar, but when I tried openning it--nothing would come up.

NO Temperatures or fan speeds w/ Desktop Utilities
I installed the latest Desktop Utilities 3.0.11.16 on Vista with 975xbx2 board and no fan speeds or temperature are shown. I also frequently get an error on 'iptray not loaded'. It is a brief message and it goes away. 'iptray' is loading. Intel support is no help as usual.
Re: Intel Releases Desktop Utilities for Vista 32.
I see some information on C program files intel idu awService, but not what I need. I built this computer and I have the intel software which seems to work fine except awService.exe is mentioned as a problem several times. Vista Home Premium says the program hangs, I look for a problem each time my computer just stops and reboots itself, as I said Vista says awService.exe hangs - report sent. Can anyone tell me if I need that part of the program or the program. My Intel Desktop Utilities works fine, no problems and I have no idea what awService.exe is supposed to do. Thanks for any help.

It is very disappointing to see Intel not releasing a 64-bit version of IDCC and IDU, even for their new X38 motherboard.

I s there really no one that knows if I need this file to run the Intel motherboard or the program that logs temperatures, volts, etc? C/ program files/ intel/ idu /awService . As of this morning I put this file in another folder hoping it will not try to run, I don't know enough about programs and what they need and don't need to make informed decisions on my own. I would really appreciate it if any one could tell me if this file is absolutely necessary and what it does.
So far my computer will often just reboot on it's own, when I check the problems list it always says AwService hung, and that is always at the same time the computer rebooted itself. Again, I would really appreciate any information any one could tell me if this file is absolutely necessary and what it does.
