Need a new MOBO

Post by rainman33 »

My MATSONIC MOBO went dead on me, and I'm considering buying a new Intel. My hardware consists of:

P4 2600 CPU
PC 3200 RAM
PATA HDDs
AGP 8x video

I know I'll have to buy a slightly older motherboard, but I feel that my existing hardware is too new to just throw away. Eventually I'll have to completely re-do my system, but not now.

Thanks.

Oops, edited my reply as I didn't realize you had 423 / 478 socket cpu. If you step up to socket 775 I think the D975XBX2 is a good mobo. Good documentation, manual and quality.
