not a fan, and frankly the 650i boards seems to have just as many features plus clock better

its overpriced. You can get the same or better performance in a better board. Look at Nates review here http://www.legitreviews.com/article/434/1/

I was looking at the gigabyte for about 150 and the asus board doesnt support crossfire does it? Looks like only Nvidia SLI, would that effect the performance of a x1900 running in it?

only if your trying to run crossfire on it. It won't run it. If your running one card of eitehr maker it doesn't matter

That might be the only hangup with this particular board cause im going to be running a x1900 and probably looking to get another soon.

I did have this mobo before the xbx2, i would not recommend it cause i had problems with it (SATA ports suddenly had problems : i couldn't use them in AHCI mode and raid, only IDE ...), plus the backplate is REALLY a pain in the ass.

Besides that, i don't have anything against that mobo, but it was really annoying back then

I decided to take the xbx2, and i still have some problems with this one (PS2 kb ... will intel ever release a bios version to solve that pb !!!), but not that serious
