Cold Bug XBX2 ?

Post by FishGlobal »

What about coldbug on XBX2? I can't start PC under Vapo (-27C) the second day! With water and BOX cooling all is normal. Has load last BIOS, 2663. How I can solve this problem?

take the vapo off and put something on it that won't freeze it ;)

Don't think Intel is going to help out DICE, Phase change cooling users with issues like that... The Intel D975XBX2 was designed to be overclocked with water and I'm sure they never did -30C testing on them! hehe

I've tested more than 10 mobos for last half a year. XBX2 - first of them who does not work under phase change ! It very much surprises Me and afflicts. It is very strange.
It's written "extreme series" on the box . I've not noticed anything extreme in this mobo. I hope very much that the given problem we shall is solved in the nearest the rev bios.
