Internet Explorer crashes on some sites

I built a D975XBX2 based PC a week ago and everything is fine, except that some web pages cause Internet Explorer to crash. So, I figured I would try a fresh Win XP Pro install to see if one of my programs or configurations was causing this problem.
After the Win XP install off the CD, I installed Acronis True Image so that I could back up the install. Then, I installed the Intel drivers so that I can get LAN functionality and connected to the Internet. The problem was still there. Going to washingtonpost.com home page works, but when I select one of the stories on the front page, IE crashes. Could it be the Intel drivers?
