DG965SS Best Sound Software

DG965SS - Can anybody recommend a Sound software suite that works well with this motherboard.
I'm looking for EQ, Wave Edit, real time recording...and ...I don't want to spend too much $$...
I use my PC to make Digital Slide Shows with background music.
