Abit FP-IN9 SLI

Post by kenc51 »

Well, I've gone back to Intel again.

I now have a E6300 | 2gb G.Skill PC8000 | Abit FP-IN9 SLI
I wanted to get a P5B-Dlx board, but there was none in-stock, so I got this Abit board for cheap. I got it for 75 euro as it's an ex-display model. Still it will do as a spare board. I hope to get a P5B by Friday.
Of course I've been tweaking with it, so far it's a POS. my max OC is only 375Mhz :(
With stock cooler, 375MHz fsb, e6300 @ 2.6, 2gb 4-3-3-4 (set by spd)

I have pics, but can't upload them yet....I need to find the USB cable for my camera first.

Have you checked around for a updated/beta bios, a lot of the 650i boards have a FSB hole around 375-380, veries from board maker to board maker. You might want to try making a jump above 400 or so just to see if that's your problem, you never know, it might just work.

I'm using a beta I got over on XS. I can also boot at 400 but it fails Orthos after 5mins, and I've maxed out the chipset voltages too.
I'm not done yet, but from what I've read, this board isn't much of a goer!
