Hi !

I have 4 x 1Gb Kingston (KHX6400D2) installed on an Intel D975XBX2 MB. Processor is E6600. See screenshot attached - it seems that the motherboard recognizes the RAM modules as 677Mhz (DDR2 5300) instead of 800Mhz (DDR2 6400) as expected. Am I missing something ? How do I get this to work ?

I have tried to set the "Performance Memory Profiles" setting to "Manual" and change the "Memory Frequency" to 800Mhz. This leads to an unstable state where the machines reboots every time after a few minutes.

Thanks,
Markus

Not only is your motherboard not reading the correct Speed from your RAMs, it also isnt reading the correct voltage.

You need to set that to 1.95v I believe for those modules.

Set memory frequency to 800Mhz and voltage to 2.0 (found this on the tech specs from Kingston). Everything running fine !

Thanks Dan !
