this may seem like a stupid question but should i install the drivers for my motherboard??? (BFG 680i) there are drivers on the nvidia website and the bfg website for my board as the driver cd that came with my board is for xp and im using vista 64.

Ihavent installed the drivers and it working fine???

should i install this i have formatted my pc several times and have never installed motherboard driver that come on cd with my board as it is for xp and iv had no problems ?

I won't install anything if your computer is already working fine for you.

yeah im just finding that out now


i went ahead and installed it anyways and now big problems with nvidia control panel

i had to uninstall all nvidia software and drivers (8800gtx driver, ntune, and the motherboard drivers)

then reinstall them all but had to install motherboard drivers first then video card driver then ntune.

otherwise the nvidia control panel was empty??? and took ages to start???

finally got it all workin though???


still wish id left it alone
